    Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kabupaten Ngawi melakukan perbaikan jalan serong timur kawasan Alun-Alun Merdeka Kabupaten Ngawi.

    Kepala DPUPR Kabupaten Ngawi Mohammad Sadli menyampaikan jalan serong sisi timur Alun-Alun Kabupaten Ngawi akan diperlebar. Selain sebagai jalan, ia menjelaskan bahwa tepi jalan juga akan difungsikan untuk tempat parkir. Hal ini untuk menampung parkir kendaraan yang berada di tepi jalan luar alun-alun.

    “Jalan serong wilayah timur (alun-alun Ngawi-red) yang sisi kanan ini akan kita bongkar, akan kita lebarkan jalan aspalnya untuk dijadikan tempat parkir,“ kata Sadli (11/4/2022).

    Sadli menyampaikan perbaikan pelebaran jalan juga dimaksudkan untuk menyambut pemudik yang ingin singgah di Alun-Alun Kabupaten Ngawi.

    Besaran anggaran untuk pelebaran jalan serong timur belum diketahui pasti, hanya saja pengerjaan perbaikan masuk dalam anggaran rutin swakelola. Prinsipnya yakni tugas perbaikan dikerjakan dan selesaikan.
